I’m really jealous of my best friend that goes to OU. She has finals this week and is done for the quarter on Thursday! Although I feel like Autumn Quarter has flown by it would still be nice to be done on Thursday. I just had my math midterm for crying out loud and she’s in finals week and is almost done! I can’t wait until this week is over and then next week is Thanksgiving! I love Thanksgiving. I love the food and I like to see my family and be with my friends that are also home from different schools. I haven’t seen some of my friends since they left for school back in August. And that really makes me depressed! I’m very excited for a little break because it is much needed at this point. I’m tried of school at the moment and I’m ready for a change in my classes. I just want a change of pace. I’m tired of taking math because honestly I don’t really know how in my future knowing the arctan of something is going to help me. That’s why some GEC’s are frustrating because they don’t necessarily pertain to what you’re majoring in. I’d really like to start getting into more classes for my major but that probably won’t happen until the spring since I switched majors. I’m getting excited though for those changes because then I won’t be taking “busy-work” classes and I’ll maybe actually be interested in the material that is being taught.

  1. I am really ready for a break too and I am ready for some class changes! I can see what you are saying about the busy work classes. I'm sure the classes will be a lot better once you are taking the classes for your major.

  2. I am looking forward to the break also, but I am a little bummed that I have to choose between a long weekend at home and coming back for the Michigan game. I know there is really no choice, after all I have waited my entire life to be here for the Michigan game, but still a little bittersweet. Glad end of quarter isn't far behind.

  3. Yeah I know a lot of people who aren't going home for Thanksgiving because of the Michigan game. Personally, I think it's poor planning on OSU's part because they didn't really need a BYE week last week.
